Supporting the voice of the sector

The VS6 Partnership are pleased to publish our latest report “The VS6 Partnership: Supporting the voice of the VCFSE sector in Liverpool City Region”. This report goes into detail on the ways and different methods in which the VS6 Partnership works closely with the 8,600 VCFSE sector organisations in Liverpool City Region via participatory models of engagement and representation.

Over the past few years, VS6 has developed and refined the way we engage with the VCFSE sector which has led to the development of some important pieces of work highlighting the sectors voice to influence Liverpool City Region decision making. We have organised a variety of assembly style events for the VCFSE sector where representatives are invited to discuss pertinent topic areas, consultation events such as the events that informed the development of the LCR VCFSE Manifesto and sector wide surveys.

Our engagement work with the sector often culminates in written reports with recommendations for action which are shared with colleagues at the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, NHS Cheshire & Merseyside, LCR Local Enterprise Partnership and beyond.

VCFSE sector engagement is essential to building a compassionate, caring and successful Liverpool City Region where no one is left behind.
