Steve Rotheram Re-elected as LCR's Metro Mayor

VS6 partners would like to express their congratulations to the re-elected Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram. 

VS6 have developed a positive working relationship with Steve over the past 4 years, working together to support both the VCFSE and our communities across the City Region, which has been particularly crucial over the past 12 months. Working closely with the Combined Authority led to the development of the LCR Cares Fund, distributing over £2million to the VCFSE sector, and has enabled VS6 to raise awareness of the needs of communities and organisations on the ground throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. 

During our LCR Metro Mayor Hustings in April 2021, Steve agreed to sign up and commit to the ambitions within our LCR VCFSE Manifesto to develop a compassionate, caring and successful City Region. 

We look forward to continuing to work with Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram over the next 3 years to realise the aims within the LCR VCFSE Manifesto, and ensure that the City Region recovery has the needs of our communities at the very centre.
