Research & Policy Officer (Fixed-Term Contract)

The VS6 Partnership would like to recruit a fixed term Research and Policy Officer until 30th November 2020.

The successful applicant will support senior voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector leaders in the Liverpool City Region. This will include working closely with England’s only Combined Authority VCFSE Advisor and one of only a very few sector representatives on a Local Enterprise Partnership.

Liverpool City Region has committed to ‘Building Back Better’ and to working in partnership with our sector. We work closely with the Metro Mayor and his team and would like to drive forward our collective vision for an inclusive economy. Your input will be central to these discussions, and the future involvement of the City Region’s 8,600 VCFSE groups, over the coming months.

There are no promises but there is always a need for an effective Research and Policy Officer and this is the perfect opportunity to develop the right business case for further sector involvement in the City Region’s economic thinking.

The role is full time (35 hours), we are working remotely at the moment, open to discussion about future job location and continued remote working for an efficient individual.

Salary: £27,539 pa (pro rata); 7% Employer Pension Contribution.
