VS6 Housing Assembly Event

We are pleased to invite you to the second VS6 Housing Assembly which will be held virtually via Zoom on the 10th November 2020 between 2- 3.30pm.

This follows on from the first VS6 Housing Assembly held last year at Halton and St Helens VCA which was attended by over 50 organisations and where Kate Farrell, from LCR Combined Authority outlined the original Housing First model and future commissioning plans.

The Assembly will be chaired by VS6 Partner, Gill Bainbridge, Chief Executive of Merseyside Youth Association and you will hear from LCR Combined Authority colleagues:

  • Victoria Kell, Strategic Policy Lead for Homelessness, and

  • Amanda Bloxham, Housing First Best Practice and Partnerships Lead

The purpose of the Assembly will be to allow Victoria and Amanda to enable VCSE providers hear about the changes to the new localised model offer and explore how we can be involved both operationally and strategically and how we can contribute to, and coordinate with, the new delivery model.

We believe that the expertise in our sector will be vital to ensuring a coordinated and coherent Housing First offer and we hope to work together going forward. The localised model offers an exciting opportunity for us to work together across sectors, to make a real difference to the lives of some of our most vulnerable people.

The format of the event will be a presentation followed by a Q&A session and discussion on next steps.

If you would like to attend please email: karen.conway@vsnw.org.uk
