VS6 Partnership LCR VCFSE Manifesto - End of Year 2 Review
The VS6 Partnership are pleased to present our End of Year 2 report which summarises our progress and achievements for 2021/22 and 2022/23 against the delivery of the Liverpool City Region VCFSE Manifesto.
The LCR Manifesto was published by the VS6 Partnership in 2021 following a period of engagement with the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector in the City Region. It outlines the ambitions, aims and priorities for the VCFSE sector as identified by the sector itself, as well as key asks of the Combined Authority to work in partnership to build a strong, resilient, and sustainable VCFSE sector.
This review report provides a detailed overview of our achievements to date in delivering against some of the key ambitions within the manifesto including areas such as:
· Ensuring that the VCFSE sector in is a key partner in planning and delivery of UK-Shared Prosperity Funding in LCR
· Community approaches to tackling digital exclusion
· Developing a LCR response to food insecurity and food poverty
· Grant funding for the sector including mental health, community wealth building and digital inclusion.
Following on from a successful two years VS6 partners are now in the process of finalising plans for the final year of manifesto delivery whilst also looking beyond this current manifesto delivery time period, including preparation for the next Mayoral election in 2024, to ensure that the VCFSE sector continues to be a crucial strategic partner in LCR.
